Accreditation Status
 Cambrian International Academy is an Approved Candidate for Accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. (WASC)
We had our WASC accreditation review and are approved for both high school and middle school. A major benefit to this status is that we are now in an official relationship with the UC system, and our courses can be placed on their list of approved courses for credit. This list will be available to parents and students for planning purposes, and it will be used by UC and other top tier universities when evaluating Cambrian Academy transcripts.
This is important to note because in November 2002 the University of California passed a policy that requires all schools that want UC approval of courses to meet the a-g requirements to be accredited by WASC or be a WASC candidate.

Cambrian International Academy is an approved AP test administration facility. Students from other schools, who wish to take the AP test at Cambrian International Academy, may contact the school for more information.
